OUR TEAM
Susan Teeple
co-founder, idealist, blog-addict, chauffeur and carpool queen, oenoophile
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Susan attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a BA in African-American History and a minor in French. While at UT, Susan was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Even though she has no academic honors to speak of, she had a really, really good time while in Austin. She was a distinguished member of the Texas Cowgirls, and fell madly in love with Longhorn football – a tumultuous love affair that continues today.
A child-bride, Susan married her college sweetheart Sloan Teeple a couple weeks after graduating from UT in 1994. The adventure started in Galveston where Sloan attended medical school at UTMB and Susan worked as an event planner and fundraiser. First-born son Chase was born on the Island right before graduation from UTMB. They moved to Shreveport, Louisiana for residency training at LSU in Urology. Living in the South was a blast, and two more babies later (middle-born precious boy Hudson and baby-girl Evie) the family was complete.
The Teeple family moved to Amarillo in 2005, absolutely thrilled at the idea of living on the high plains and charting their own path. Connecting people with other fun people, places and things has always been a passion for Susan – and funspired will be a great new adventure.
Farrar Mansfield
co-founder, pragmatist, detail freak, newbie mom, and adventure-ista
Farrar was born in Grosse Pointe, MI, raised in Palm Beach, FL and Gates Mills, OH, schooled in Lakeville, CT and Hanover, NH, and finally made it to Texas after her college graduation in 2003. A few years in the DFW area (and too much $ spent at Neiman Marcus), and then finally on to Amarillo. Phew! Took a while to make it to home sweet home. Farrar met her beloved Rob at Dartmouth College in 2002, they were married in 2005 (a fun Florida wedding), and had their precious baby Fiona in 2010. A motto from Dartmouth, “work hard, play hard” is one of Farrar’s favorites.
Farrar loves her job at Amarillo National Bank. She also loves her time with family and friends and most things “active,” particularly squash, running, skiing, fly fishing, and beer drinking. She is a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church, a volunteer for various local organizations, and always has trouble making herself get in bed at night. There is just too much fun to do…

Chriselda Reyes
events photographer, facebook guru, hummus-lover, and passionate giver
Chriselda attended several colleges, finally settling at UTSA in San Antonio where she was a pre-med student. She took film photography courses to alleviate the weight of her science course-loads. When she moved back to Amarillo in 2005, she sort of "fell into" her current career as a wedding and portrait photographer. She absolutely loves what she does, and therefore she feels like she never "works" a day her life. She enjoys getting to know her clients on a personal level and appreciates how they trust her with their smiles, personalities and hearts.
When she is not "working," Chriselda is usually volunteering or doing something pro-active with her time. She loves reading, being in the Palo Duro canyon, watching NBA games, singing, cooking and eating. She has recently become fascinated with performing arts and appeared in ALT's production of Love, Loss and What I Wore. She is a member of Trinity Fellowship and participates in many bible studies.
If you want to get to know Chriselda and her photography better, spend some time with her incredible blog.
